People often say that to live in an "ang moh" country typically costs a bomb. I disagree.
In the words of my Aunty Jenny, "You just gotta learn how to live!" and truly, that's all there is!
Just went to do a little mental calculations and realised that basically, Chubby Hubby, Nickie, Larry and I are all living on basically $1 for a meal!
I can't believe it but its true! Chubby Hubby and Nickie in total spent about $20 in all buying foodstuffs such as meat, desserts, veggies and fruits. You wouldn't believe it until you see it with your own eyes, but today's shopping only cost us less than $5 and it was a total of 4 bags full, not just full, overflowing filled full!
This CD that I am listening to already cost me $5 for a boxset of 4 CDs.. so go figure!
