... That I find simply irresistable, even more so when its in Noir/Black.
Occasionally, I catch myself nodding in appreciation at the Black Epi Leather Passy or Pont Neuf or the Alma as the lady next to me walks by. People may look at me and think I am nuts, or purely just deep in thought, but at the bottom of my mind, I smile inwardly in appreciation of the lady next to me at her inpeccable good taste.
I still remember the scent of the smooth, grained black leather when my hubby bought me my very first LV Cuir Epi Noir Speedy 25 on Champs Elysses. Ah.... I adore the Cuir Epi collection! The pure scent of the tannins in the leather, the addictive satin touch of the fine grain, the almost invisible LV monogram gently caressing the grooves of your fingertips... How else can I describe it except being simply pleasurable?
Admittedly, the LV Cuir Epi is not for everyone. If you are someone who likes being ostenatious and wants the whole world to be aware that you have the money for an LV, then the Cuir collection is not for you. This is just simply because there is almost no indication that the leather bag you are holding is an LV, all except a small discreetly embossed LV logo on the bottom right corner on the front of the bag.
But I love it, and more so everyday. I'm so deeply sorry that I missed the last LV Cuir Epi collection in Mandarin Orange. I had discovered my innate love for LV too late. Still, I shall keep my heart and mind open... until the next season's colour floods the nearest LV store again.
