... all the Netizens online say just to treat this like any other driving lesson. Afterall, we've already had ample practice, so just let loose because you know what to do! And it doesn't matter if you fail, just retake lor!
My stand-in Shifu Anthony tells me that if I perform the same as I did last night, I shouldn't have a problem. He even gave me his handphone number so that I can SMS that I have passed. He's THAT sure...
For me, I just pray really hard that I won't fail, I get a lenient tester, and that I don't forget how to do anything! The Netizens all say that the Traffic Policemen (TP) are not out to fail people because it just means more people to test in future. There is also a funny system of drawing lots. The person in front of you draws what you are supposed to get. Alamak... can die leh like that... I pray that the person in front of me has a lucky hand and draws me the easiest routes... just please.. not routes 5, 6 or 7!
I missed the "Stop" sign last night. Am supposed to stop immediately, check again (even if there are no cars oncoming) and then move off... different from the "Give Way" sign... Also gotta make sure that I don't mount kerb, else its an immediately failure!!!!! Arghhh HORRORS!
It should however, be fine la... The best part of this experience is when I pass.... Ta-Dah! I get a new LV!!! MUAHAHA!!! So if you see me posting a pic of my new LV in the next few days, you'll know for sure that I have passed... Let your congratulations flow!
Frankly, I haven't had this feeling in a long while. In the uni days, its the agony of taking an afternoon exam... the anticipation, the butterflies in the stomach... but when I think back, erm... it was only like 2 hours? All that pain and agonising wait for a mere 120 minutes of paper scribbling.
Today, it's going to be the same... 45 minutes max of driving along familar roads, doing what I have always been doing... If I don't meet any deranged driver rushing back to work after a prolonged lunch, I should definitely be more than fine!
Do please God, please give me a lenient tester, a watchful eye, courteous drivers who will drive slowly and an easy route so that I can pass on my first try.
Good luck to me and God Bless! And as Tinkie winkie often says... Amen!
