Warm hello to Nickie's sister

2008 seems to be a very sisters' year for me. Just this year alone, I have already acquainted myself with 2 pairs of sisters.

Just recently, Peiling asked me to intro her sis a job at Citi. Today, April is my colleague doing problem solving on my behalf. And yesterday, I finally met Nickie's sister Xin after much hearing of her voice and shuttlecock expertise.

Frankly, I was a tad disoriented when I met Peiling's sister. They may share a similar face, but boy are their personalities insanely different! Worlds apart! I had always thought that as sisters, their personalities should at least overlap like sone Venn diagram because in some way I should see some part of the friend I know in the person who shares her life and blood! Noooo.. so wrong...

Nickie and her sister however, are quite similar... This, I can totally orientate. Maybe its precisely because of this that in the same way, I feel the bonding immediately with Xin and can hit it off as if I have known her for years instead of 10 minutes.

Thinking about it just makes me laugh all over again. You should see the way Xin says Nickie's common phrase, "并没有，好不好！" The way they say it, ah! Exactly the same. The tone, the manner, the facial expression, the way the head turns slightly to the side with the eyes and brow slightly furrowed. Haha! Xin just makes me miss Nickie all the more.

Doubtless Nickie and Xin are different people with a dissimilar face, but haha! I just like them both all the more. Ok lah, no fish, prawn also good lah. While Xin is here, I shall transfer my affection for Nickie to Xin for a while until September comes around again.
