I have always been a shoe person, but i had always shied away from pumps because well, I didn't think that they were practical for hot and sweaty Singapore.
However, when I saw my sister-in-law's open toe sandals which she ordered for her wedding, I swore to myself that I would never be caught dead in open toe sandals/heels.
Not that her shoes weren't nice. They were afterall made to measure at Leapin' Lizards. But somehow, when I envision a lovely bride walking down the aisle and all of a sudden you see her toes peek out, I don't know.. makes me think of a sexy camisole matched with granny underpants.. even if the toes are nicely pedicured.
This blog entry is basically just a way of expressing my new found enthusiasm for pumps. No doubt working at the Clan has never officially dictated that pumps are a must, but really, I still want to wear them. Never mind that I probably have to soak my sweaty feet in dettol and tea when I am home.
I absolutely adore the shoe shop which was previously at Millenia Walk. It has moved to China Square area, (can't remember shop's name), but the shoes are afforable (think like SGD50) and last a really long time (I've had mine for maybe 4 to 5 months?) without having to reheel. Best of all, they don't chaff or cause blisters 9presuming you are getting the right size). I got my white wedding shoes (as above), my golden evening gown shoes and my working shoes all there!
Now, all I need are the bags to match.
