Pumps just set my heart pumping!

I have always been a shoe person, but i had always shied away from pumps because well, I didn't think that they were practical for hot and sweaty Singapore.
However, when I saw my sister-in-law's open toe sandals which she ordered for her wedding, I swore to myself that I would never be caught dead in open toe sandals/heels.
Not that her shoes weren't nice. They were afterall made to measure at Leapin' Lizards. But somehow, when I envision a lovely bride walking down the aisle and all of a sudden you see her toes peek out, I don't know.. makes me think of a sexy camisole matched with granny underpants.. even if the toes are nicely pedicured.
This blog entry is basically just a way of expressing my new found enthusiasm for pumps. No doubt working at the Clan has never officially dictated that pumps are a must, but really, I still want to wear them. Never mind that I probably have to soak my sweaty feet in dettol and tea when I am home.
I absolutely adore the shoe shop which was previously at Millenia Walk. It has moved to China Square area, (can't remember shop's name), but the shoes are afforable (think like SGD50) and last a really long time (I've had mine for maybe 4 to 5 months?) without having to reheel. Best of all, they don't chaff or cause blisters 9presuming you are getting the right size). I got my white wedding shoes (as above), my golden evening gown shoes and my working shoes all there!
Now, all I need are the bags to match.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was rather eventful at the Clan.

On top of the usual flustered delivery people at the door waiting anxiously for the intended to come and sign so that they can be on their way, bosses and superiors alike were also giving out mini bouquets and chocolates to their staff.

I even managed to do a good deed and tell belle that her flowers were at the door.

But the thing about roses on V-Day is that, not only are they ruinously expensive, they are actually expected. And worse, when the roses are of the wrong colour, or (gasp! heaven forbid!) the wrong flowers delivered to the wrong person... that's it.. you die and at the same time expect to send another bouquet!!!

Haha, the roses i am looking forward to this year belong to the Brillant kind.. you know? By Soo Kee? That's like maybe 1 carat big? Ah.. now that is what I call everlasting roses... so everlasting that even my great grand children can still expect to see it.

I didn't get one though. Instead, I got my LV!! -dances around- No, its not the Jasmin (too small), nor the Ribera (out of stock, sorry), and neither is it the Alma (too mature). Instead, Chubby Hubby bought me the Passy in Cuir Epi Ivoire.. good gracious.. cost a bomb.. but okie lah, considering that its birthday + v-day + last year's xmas pressie... can lah..

And best of all, its leather! definitely not that silly cotton combi (known as mini lin) that attempts to associate itself with LV's history of long lasting goods.

Ps: the LV monogram and Damier canvas are both CANVAS ok? even if its that stylish Mirage serious, its still canvas.... can't believe I was actually considering the LV Mirage Speedy.. come to think of it, so nuts.. paying more than what I would for Epi leather and yet its CANVAS.. (gasp) wouldn't be able to forgive myself

The world's best husband!

I just want to say that I truly appreciate my hubby..

I really honestly think that there's probably no better hubby in this world than mine. No doubt we have our share of quarrels, squabbles and what-nots, but there's no one else in this world who treats my mom, my family and me better!

After much delay, my hubby finally got me my birthday present. haha! yay!

Ok, save for being materialistic, just want to shout: I LOVE MY HUBBY!
