In my third (and likely final) maternity leave, I had this insane idea to go around Singapore to enjoy afternoon teas anywhere that they are offered. Needless to say I am not even half way through the Lady Iron Chef list, but I am definitely enjoying every bite!
Hubby was on half day leave yesterday but as with all half days, by the time one returns home, it's practically late afternoon already! So instead of lunch, we had afternoon tea instead.

My fav item on the spread for savouries is the Squid Ink Crust chargrilled seafood skinny pizza. Yes the folks at the House is the same folks running skinny pizza!
As for the sweets, well, I have been searching for the dessert which is both sweet and tangy. Definitely needs citrus but should not cloy. The lemon curd tart at the Landing Point, Fullerton Bay Hotel, came close to satisfaction but was still not quite right. Here at House, it was a grapefruit tart that hits the spot.
I was so thrilled by it, I broke out in song on my Instagram... haha! The passionfruit custard tart was also very delish!
